It can be frustrating when you’ve planted your seeds and nothing happens. Pepper seeds, especially jalapeños, can be a bit finicky compared to other vegetables.
* Common Sprouting Blockers:
* Low Temperatures: Jalapeño seeds need warmth to wake up. Ideally, your soil should be between 75°F and 85°F (24°C–29°C).
* Planting Too Deep: These seeds are small! Planting them more than ¼ inch deep can prevent the sprout from reaching the surface.
* Old Seeds: Low-quality or old seeds have a much lower success rate.
* How Our Kit Solves This:
* Our Seed Starting Kit includes a specialized humidity dome and premium heat-retaining soil mix. This creates a "micro-greenhouse" effect that keeps your seeds warm and hydrated, leading to a 90% germination rate.
